Evaluation task one

This is the establishing shot for our film. We wanted this to be the first thing that people saw as it brings a sense of mysteriouseness and the dark atmosphere and surroundings adds to the thrilling element. the audience will wonder why the person is wearing a mask and what they have to hide from the world. also they will wonder what significance the pictueres have to play with the piece. the picture is clearly a girl and so we wonder how far it go.

the close up of the girls allows us to know that she has a main rolein the piece, the fact that their is a knife on the picture makes the audience epathise for the girl, as it almost forshadows the events tocome.the knife symbolises danger and its placed across the nape of her neckwichis even more thrilling.

the secene is deserted and isolated wich gives ann aroura for danger and a fearfull atmosphere.this was a reallyeffective shot beacuse first of all it let the audience know where they were and secondly its isolation gives off a very eerie feeling again putting the audience on edge

this shot makes the girl seem innocent and vaunrable, the angle of the shot allows us to see a twisted view of the girl,it almost makes the audience feel as though that this is how that stalker views her.

This particular shot is blurred. the reason for this was to create a very misty effect that let the audience know that things have suddenly change and are no longer as they seem.also its an over the shoulder shot so the audience feel like they are with the character watching their every move.

this shot is very sinister and for the first time the audience aremet face to face with the stalker. the audeince almost feel that they are the victim aswell

the shot is reversed and we see her facial expression and we see how fearfull she is. this is verry affective as we feel as we are one with her.

This mid shot shows the victim tied up in an unknown location. This particular frame is effective because it is very compact as you can see the excess props in the background.the audience at this point will be confused as to where they are and they will sense this from the victims facial expressions as well.

this shot symbolises her captivity, we see fully how he is free and she is she held downand his captive.
